25-year-old Elena Rybakina is a professional tennis player from Kazakhstan. She made her WTA Tour debut in October 2017 at the Kremlin Cup. But she first came into the limelight in 2022, after winning her first Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, becoming the first player from Kazakhstan to win a major title. She has won eight WTA singles titles in her career so far, including one Grand Slam and two WTA 1000 titles. She is ranked No. 6 in the world by WTA as of late 2024.

Goran Ivanisevic is the coach of Elena Rybakina. The pair began their partnership in late 2024, after Ivanisevic quit the team of Novak Djokovic.

The Croatian Goran Ivanisevic remains the only player to win Wimbledon as a wild-card, which he achieved in 2001. He is a former World No. 2, and won 22 singles titles during the course of his career. A talented southpaw, Ivanisevic also won nine doubles trophies.
