Recent General Hospital plotlines have left Port Charles residents reeling. Michael’s critical condition from burns in Sonny’s penthouse fire has intensified the drama. As the family anxiously awaited updates on Michael’s recovery, tensions rose with Willow and Drew’s arrival at the hospital.

A clip shared on the show's official Facebook page sparked fan backlash, mirroring the reactions of Port Charles residents.

“How dare Drew show up at the hospital!! I’m so ready for their fling to go public so everyone can see how awful they both are,” wrote a fan.

Some fans believe that Drew didn't visit the hospital for Michael, but instead to make sure Willow doesn't turn back to him.

General Hospital: Willow and Drew arrive at the hospital

The arrival of Willow and Drew at General Hospital added layers of emotional tension to an already chaotic situation. Willow was determined to see Michael, but Nina stood in her way, focusing more on the custody battle than on Michael’s health.

Nina called Marty to discuss legal strategies, encouraging Willow to ask for temporary full custody of her kids, Wiley and Amelia, using Michael’s condition as leverage. But Willow refused to take advantage of Michael’s situation for legal gain.

“How will I explain to Wiley and Amelia that I was negotiating with lawyers when their father lay in a hospital bed in agony?” asked Willow.

As Willow arrived, she was immediately confronted by Josslyn, who was very angry. Josslyn yelled at Willow, blaming her for not being there for Michael when he needed her most. She reminded Willow of how badly Michael was hurt, with burns covering 40% of his body. Willow tried to explain herself, hoping Josslyn would understand, but Josslyn wasn’t willing to listen.

"You really do think you're better than anyone, don’t you? Wake up, you lying, faithless skank," said Joss.

Drew’s return to Port Charles caused some more drama. His first visit was to the hospital, where he ran into Curtis. Their already tense relationship got even worse when Curtis accused Drew of being selfish.

“You say family like that’s supposed to mean something, Drew, but it doesn’t coming from your mouth,” Curtis said.

Drew, however, stayed firm, saying he wanted to fix things with Michael. Curtis didn’t believe him and made it clear Drew wasn’t welcome.

Carly and Josslyn stayed outside Michael’s hospital room, holding onto hope as they waited for updates. Carly went to the hospital chapel and lit a candle, praying for her son to get better. While she was deep in thought, Drew showed up. Their talk quickly turned into an argument, with Carly accusing Drew of contributing to Michael’s current situation.

Drew tried to defend himself, reminding Carly of the times he had sacrificed for her, but it didn’t calm her down.

“You took the fall because you thought you were getting a slap on the wrist, not a prison sentence,” said Carly.

Kristina’s emotional struggles took center stage as she grappled with the fear of losing her brother. After confiding in Alexis, she sought solace on the hospital roof, where Sonny comforted her and encouraged her to face her fears. Gaining strength, Kristina joined Molly outside Michael’s room as the family awaited news. Inside, Jason stayed by Michael’s side and felt relief when Michael finally opened his eyes.
