"Just leave chad alone" — The return of Clyde Weston and Vivian Alamain has Days of Our Lives fans rolling their eyes

The new dark turn on the Peacock soap opera Days of Our Lives has left the fans of the show worried about the fate of the characters in Salem. With the recent return of soap’s long-time villains Clyde Weston (played by James Read) and Vivian Alamain (played by Louise Sorel) characters including Chad DiMera, Gabi Hernandez, and Stefan DiMera are left struggling with new problems in their lives.

The recent episode of Days of Our Lives aired on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, has left fans wondering why these villains have a never-ending storyline that aims at harming the people of the town. Following this thought, a fan and Facebook user Roxanne J. Dance, posted in the Facebook group named, "Days of our lives Official", asking if it is just them or if the other viewers are also done watching Clyde and Vivian.

"Anyone else sick of the Clyde Weston always coming back!! Vivian Alamane too."

The post received some similar thoughts from several other fans.

There are also fans, who may not want to see Clyde but have a positive response towards Vivian’s return.

In the November 6, 2024, episode of Days of Our Lives, the viewers witnessed intense drama with big conflicts and unexpected twists. EJ DiMera talked to Chad DiMera, who was grappling with the grief of losing Abigail all over again. Their conversation was interrupted by a loud noise in the DiMera house, following which EJ went to check it out.

Ivan Marais, who was operating under Vivian Alamain's instructions, moved quietly around the mansion. He hid when Gabi Hernandez arrived, delaying his detection. Gabi refused to sign her divorce papers and talked to EJ before going upstairs to find Stefan.

Meanwhile, Ivan made a fake note that made it look like Stefan left as a response to betrayal. Gabi found the note and showed it to EJ. She read Stefan's harsh farewell note, which made it seem like he didn't care about EJ or Gabi anymore. Gabi was heartbroken and signed the divorce papers, thinking Stefan had moved on. EJ and Gabi started arguing, and Gabi lashed out and sent EJ away.

In another part of Salem on Days of Our Lives, Jada Hunter had a dangerous fight with Vivian, who tried to take Jada's gun. The fight ended with Vivian being hurt and arrested at the hospital. Jada and Rafe Hernandez talked about their recent troubles after which Rafe proposed to Jada, and she accepted, marking a moment of joy amid the chaos.

Meanwhile, Aaron Greene went to see his brother Mark, who is in jail, to find out more about the attack on Chad. Mark, who was scared because Clyde Weston was threatening their mother, told Aaron that Clyde was behind everything.

The bombshell revelation came when their sister, Cat Greene, stepped forward from a nearby cell, confirming her survival and return after extensive surgeries. The family’s turmoil deepened as Aaron, overwhelmed, left despite Cat’s pleas.

Steve Johnson's conversation with Chad took a darker turn when Clyde called Chad, offering to reunite him with Abigail’s remains in exchange for a favor. Because of Clyde’s tricks, Chad asks EJ to let Cat out of jail. All these things happening in one day made it clear that Clyde was planning something big, keeping everyone in Salem on edge.
