Kevin Wynn, the four-star defensive lineman from Greene County High School, announced his commitment to Florida State on June 24 this year. He chose the Seminoles over other top schools such as Texas, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina.

Wynn made the decision right after his official visit to the Seminoles' campus and spoke about it after announcing his commitment.

"Florida State, first offer, they were the first college I visited, they have been on my since 9th grade and they have always been with me and high on my list," Wynn told On3. "At the end of the official visit, I made my decision to commit to Florida State. It felt like home."

Wynn is ranked No. 58 nationally and is the eighth-best defensive lineman from the class of 2025, as per 247Sports. He is also the 10th-best overall prospect from the state of Georgia.

#2, Javion Hilson

A four-star prospect from Cocoa, Florida, Javion Hilson announced his commitment to Florida State in January this year. He picked the Seminoles over schools such as UCF, Texas, and Florida.

The 6-foot-3 edge rusher was previously committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide but flipped his decision on January 16.

"I like the atmosphere and the fan base. My dad is a big Florida State fan and I grew up watching them and it’s close to home," Hilson said, as per On3. "I am a Florida boy and they’ve been recruiting me the heaviest ever since I committed to Alabama. Also, I can fit the best in their defense 4-2-5 as a true defensive end."

Hilson is the 44th-best prospect in the country and is the third-ranked edge rusher from the class of 2025, as per 247Sports. He is also the seventh-best overall prospect from the state of Florida.

#1, Solomon Thomas

Thomas was in Tallahassee for the October game between FSU and Duke. He was impressed by the atmosphere and talked about it in an interview with Warchant.

"It was a great game and it was a crazy atmosphere," Thomas told Warchant. "This is the kind of atmosphere you want to play in. ... And when you see guys rotating, and they have a great attitude and they are playing with a purpose and not for themselves. That’s what you want to be around."

Thomas is ranked No. 24 in the country and is the best player in his position from the class of 2025, as per 247Sports. He is also the second-best player from his home state of Florida.
