The Trinity League's Week 3 slate of games saw some of the most highly anticipated matchups of the high school season. Teams like Mater Dei, St. John Bosco and Servite were all in action in Week 3.

#3 Orange Lutheran still in title race after win over Santa Margarita
The Orange Lutheran Lancers won their Week 3 game against the Santa Margarita Eagles on Saturday. It was a defensive slugfest, as both teams failed to cross the 15-point mark before the Lancers outlasted the Eagles 13-10.
Orange Lutheran quarterback TJ Lateef threw for 238 yards, while Santa Margarita signal-caller, John Gazzaniga racked up 202 yards, one touchdown and one nterception. The Eagles' junior linebacker Dash Fifita recorded 14 solo tackles.
The Lancers improved to 6-2, while the Eagles slipped to 3-5 on the season. Orange Lutheran next take on the Servite Friars, while Santa Margarita go up against the JSerra Catholic Lions on Oct. 24.
#2 Mater Dei extend their winning streak to seven games after dominant win over JSerra Catholic
The No.1 ranked team in the country, Mater Dei, took care of business against JSerra Catholic on Saturday in the Trinity League. The Monarchs dominated their opposition en route a 41-17 victory away from home.
Four-star running back Jordon Davison carried the ball 16 times for 106 yards and scored one touchdown. Mater Dei's defense had a tremendous outing against the Lions, recording seven sacks and an interception.
This win extended the Monarchs' unbeaten run to seven games to begin the season. They will look to continue their winning streak against the No. 2-ranked team in the country, St. John Bosco.
#1 St. John Bosco beat Servite at SoFi Stadium in the Brotherhood Bowl
The Brotherhood Bowl game between St. John Bosco and Servite took place at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on Friday. The game was presented by the Los Angeles Rams as a part of the stadium's Friday Night Lights series.
St. John Bosco, coming in on unbeaten record, extended it to eight games after soundly beating its state rivals, 27-17. It was Servette's second loss of the season as it slipped to 6-2.
The Braves next play the No. 1-ranked team, Mater Dei, on Friday in arguably the biggest game of the Trinity League this season. On the same day, Servite plays the Orange Lutheran Lancers.
