5 players with standout performances at the Spalding Hoophall Classic ft. Cameron Boozer and AJ Dybantsa

This year's edition of the Spalding Hoophall Classic has now wrapped up, with some of the best high school teams, both boys and girls, showing off their best game in front of a national audience. Some of the best high school ballers also competed, including several top recruits from the various recruiting classes.

The question now is, which high school basketball star for the boys' division reigned supreme in Springfield Missouri last weekend?

Five of the best performers from this year's Spalding Hoophall Classic

5) AJ Dybantsa

No. 1 ranked BYU signee AJ Dybantsa carried Utah Prep against defending national champion Montverde Academy during the Spalding Hoophall Classic but ultimately failed to win. However, he did have one of the best individual performances of the event, as he had 25 points, three rebounds, and three steals. He also shot 8-for-19 and went 6-for-7 from the charity stripe.

4) Cayden Boozer

While Cameron Boozer is the offensive spearhead of the Columbus Explorers, his twin brother Cayden is usually the floor general directing him and his other teammates. This was especially true during the Spalding Hoophall Classic, as he controlled the tempo against five-star Koa Peat and Perry. He had 19 points, four rebounds, and seven assists that night.

3) Tounde Yessoufou

It was a battle of two of the best forwards in the event as four-star Tounde Yessoufou took on five-star Caleb Wilson, with Yessoufou leading his team to victory and getting MVP honors. He had a game-high 23 points against Holy Innocents Episcopal, along with eight rebounds and five steals.

2) Darryn Peterson

After Hoophall Classic, No. 3 ranked Darryn Peterson and Prolific Prep have now beaten the top four prospects from the class of 2025, previously beating No. 1 ranked Dybantsa, No. 2 ranked Cameron Boozer, and now, No. 4 ranked Nate Ament. The Kansas signee had 31 points, nine rebounds, and four assists to lead Prolific Prep against Highland High School.

1) Cameron Boozer

The Perry vs. Columbus game pitted two of the best high school power forwards of the class of 2025, as Cameron took on Koa Peat. In the end, it was Cameron who came out on top.

Columbus actually played two games during the Spalding Hoophall Classic, but it was the game against Perry where Cameron shined the most. He had a double-double performance with 31 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists while shooting 11-for-15.
