Julian Lewis High School Stats: Looking at the 5-star Colorado signee's current stats as he prepares to join Coach Prime next season
Julian Lewis, a 5-star quarterback from Carrollton High School in Georgia, is one of the best football recruits in the country. 247Sports has him ranked as the No. 9 QB in the country while ESPN has him at No. 2 overall in their top 300.
Now, he’s preparing to bring his talent to the Colorado Buffaloes after signing with Coach Deion "Prime" Sanders' program in early December.
Lewis has had another strong season for Carrollton in 2024-25. The junior has completed an impressive 76% of his passes and has thrown for 3,465 yards. He also has 46 touchdowns against five interceptions.
He has not made much of an impact as a runner; he's rushed for just 86 yards on 31 carries. However, he did score the first two touchdowns of his career this year.
Lewis' junior year has been a continuation of his remarkable high school career at Carrollton.
As a freshman in 2022, Julian Lewis led Carrollton to a 14-1 record and a Georgia Class 7A state championship appearance. That season, he completed 283 of 432 passes (65.5%) for 4,118 yards, with 48 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. His remarkable debut earned him the MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year award.
In 2023, during his sophomore year, Julian Lewis continued where he left off as he finished with 186 successful passes out of 280 (66.4%) for, 3,094 yards, 48 touchdowns, and just 2 interceptions. He led Carrollton to an 11-2 record and made it into the quarter-final of the Class 7A, which earned him the MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year honors.
Lewis has thrown for over 10,000 career yards, with 136 touchdowns and 18 interceptions in his high school career.
An emotional Julian Lewis Leads Carrollton to 6A state championship game
Playing one of his final games as a quarterback for Carrollton High School Julian Lewis, helped his team win 30-17 over Buford, which saw them advance to face Grayson in the Class 6A state championship game.
Julian Lewis completed 15 of 18 passes for 193 yards and two touchdowns to help them secure the win. He overcame a hand injury he sustained in the previous playoff game against Hillgrove.
Trailing 17-7 late in the second quarter, Lewis connected with Peyton Zachary for a 22-yard touchdown, cutting the deficit to 17-14 by halftime. Carrollton then scored 23 unanswered points, snapping Buford's 12-game win streak and maintaining their undefeated season.
After leading Carrollton High School to a victory over Buford, Julian Lewis fully expressed a strong bond with his team. In a postgame interview, he reflected on the team's performance and his contributions to victory.
"This team means everything to me. Proud of how we fought tonight. Go Trojans."
Carrollton (14-0) will face Grayson (13-1) on Dec. 18 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the state title. Grayson advanced with a 35-28 win over Douglas County.
