Four-star edge rusher Justin Hill continues to shine as one of Alabama's top prospects for the 2025 class, which ranks No. 1 in the Southeastern Conference. He kicked off his senior season at Winton Woods High School in Ohio with a bang.

The Winton Woods Warriors picked up a massive 31-0 win over Turpin on Friday. Hill became the all-time sack leader for the school with 23 career sacks, surpassing the previous record of 15 held by Keith Crain and Lintz Handley.

Hill isn’t the only standout on Winton Woods' defense, as senior defensive lineman Delan Massey-Wright also made history by setting the school record for tackles for loss. With 36 tackles for loss in his career, he surpassed the previous record of 32 set by Anthony Brown.

Meanwhile, Alabama’s 2025 class is turning heads on high school football fields this week. Quarterback commit Keelon Russell shone with four touchdowns for Duncanville High School in Texas, while wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks also posted as many touchdowns for Millville High School in New Jersey. Another receiver, Caleb Cunningham, added two touchdowns for Choctaw County in Mississippi.

Apart from them, running back A’Kylin Dear racked up over 200 yards for Quitman High School, while defensive lineman London Simmons recorded four sacks for Hartfield Academy in Mississippi.

Justin Hill opens up about his fit in the Alabama defense

Justin Hill was named first-team All-Ohio and Division II district defensive player of the year last season. With impressive stats, including 36 tackles, 16 tackles-for-loss and 13 sacks, he was seeking a program that would best develop his potential.

Although he's an Ohio native and initially viewed as a Buckeyes lean, Hill felt that Alabama better aligned with his goals. He was drawn to the Crimson Tide’s success in developing elite defensive talent like Dallas Turner and Will Anderson.

"Dallas Turner, Alabama showed me his weight, his vertical and his height going into Alabama," Hill told Eleven Warriors. "They showed me how they developed him. I was literally almost the same size as him going into college.
"And then add Will Anderson,. They've done it with a bunch of linebackers and edge guys throughout the years and have been playing great defensive football. They've shown they can develop guys like me and take me to the next level," he added.

Justin Hill's Winton Woods are 4-0 and will look to continue their winning streak when they face Walnut Hills on Friday.
