As teams nationwide kick off their campaigns, all eyes will be on a trio of marquee games featuring nationally ranked powerhouses. Fans are in for a treat with some of the nation's best high school programs squaring off.

#3. Rabun Gap-Nacoochee High School (Ga.) at Baylor High School (Chattanooga, Tenn.)

Baylor High School of Tennessee will face Rabun Gap-Nacoochee High School from Georgia. In 2021, Rabun Gap won 35-24, ending Baylor High's two-year winning streak in the series.
Rabun Gap boasts an impressive roster featuring standout players such as offensive lineman Justin Hasenhuetl (6-5, 300), linebacker Antoine Deslauriers (6-1, 235) and tight end Marshall Pritchett (6-6, 220).
#2. No. 5 St. John Bosco (Bellflower, Calif.) vs. No. 6 Chaminade-Madonna (Hollywood, Fla.)

The St. John Bosco, California team is challenged by Florida Chaminade-Madonna. St. John Bosco’s squad lists wide receive Madden Williams (6-1, 185), defensive lineman Dutch Horisk (6-2, 240) and defensive back Joshua Holland as their standouts.
Chaminade-Madonna High School counters with wide receiver Jabari Brady (6-1.5, 185), Derrek Cooper (6-1, 190) and quarterback Zachary Katz (6-1, 200). This will be the first meeting between these powerhouses.
#1. No. 2 Bishop Gorman (Las Vegas, Nev.) at No. 11 St. Thomas Aquinas (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.)

Bishop Gorman enters this game with 26 straight wins, having beaten Kahuku 33-7 in their first game of the current season. In the last 14 years, the Gaels (Bishop Gorman) have won 13 state championships. St. Thomas Aquinas High has 15 state titles on its record.
The Raiders have a 65-3 record in their last five seasons and strive to protect their stronghold against the visiting Gaels. The last time these teams met was in 2016, when Bishop Gorman earned a 25-24 win in triple overtime.
