"All I see is perfection": Gilbert Arenas' son Alijah Arenas talks about learning from LeBron James

Five-star recruit and the son of Gilbert Arenas, Alijah Arenas has made a name for himself as one of the most talented players in the Class of 2026. He ranks at the fourth spot in the 2026 ESPN 60 Recruiting Database and has received five stars from 247Sports, ESPN, Rivals and four stars from On3.

The Chatsworth, California native appeared on a YouTube video, posted by Susosu Water, along with his father, Gilbert Arenas. The reporter asked him about his experience visiting the Lakers' locker room and having a look at 4x NBA Champ LeBron James' locker.

After which, Arenas talked about how James and 5x NBA champ Kobe Bryant inspired him to be more organized and neat (5:15 - 5:47):

"I feel like all the top players, especially those two, they are really big on being neat, on time and just seeing LeBron's locker, I could just imagine what Kobe's was, all his stuff is neat, there's nothing missing, laying around," said Arenas. "I visited his locker and all I see is just perfection, but when I see that and then I see everybody else's, that shows me that he's the leader."

Gilbert Arenas also spoke about his and Alijah Arenas' favourite hobbies together (12:47 - 13:31):

"Together, what's so funny is during COVID, it was Fortnite," said Gilbert Arenas.
Alijah Arenas continued, "It was Fortnite, and then a lot in Middle School, it was Call of Duty. I played a lot of Call of Duty in middle school and that's what we did after school. We used to just, I had a bunk bed and I sat on top and he sat on the bottom and then we'll just play a lot but anything."

How many offers does Alijah Arenas have?

Arenas still has one more year left before he starts his collegiate career. However, he has received plenty of offers from colleges across the nation. The 6'6" shooting guard played 35 games for Chatsworth High School, averaging 33 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.9 blocks per contest.

In May 2023, Washington, Arizona State, California, Nebraska and Virginia Tech sent him offers. Two more offers were sent by Arizona on June 1, 2023, and Alabama on July 19, 2023. This year, Arenas has received an offer from West Virginia on May 1.

Arenas has been performing really well and it is hard to find a talent as good as him. Which college do you think will recruit Alijah Arenas?
