Arkansas signee Meleek Thomas shares 3-word reaction to Carmelo Anthony's son Kiyan Anthony and teammate Kayden Mingo's latest Hoophall performance 

Kiyan Anthony, son of the 10-time NBA All-Star Carmelo Anthony, and Penn State signee Kayden Mingo impressed Arkansas signee Meleek Thomas with their performance at the Hoophall Classic. Anthony and Mingo led Long Island Lutheran High School to a 68-55 win against La Lumiere on Monday.

Anthony scored 16 points and dished out two assists while Mingo had 13 points and grabbed six rebounds. The duo dominated the defense as they were able to convert shots from the 3-point line and get into the paint to beat the traffic and convert lay-ups.

The highlights of their performance were uploaded by the famous Instagram page 'Sports Center NEXT,' where Thomas commented:

The Crusaders marked their third consecutive win against the Lakers, bumping their record to 11-5 this season, having won nine of their last 12 matches. On the other hand, La Lumiere's loss dropped them to an 11-9 record.

LuHi is on an eight-game winning streak. At the La Porte Invitational last week, Kiyan Anthony and the Mingo brothers helped Long Island Lutheran to a 68-52 win over Orangeville.

Kayden Mingo scored 12 points while shooting 66.6%, including 60.0% from the field, in 26 minutes. His brother, Dylan Mingo, added 16 points on 50.0% shooting, including 40.0% from beyond the 3-point line in 19 minutes.

Kiyan Anthony finished the game with six points, one assist, one steal and one rebound in 23 minutes in his second game after a month-long injury.


Kiyan Anthony's LuHi tops On3's New York high school basketball ranking

Long Island Lutheran took the top spot on the On3's top 25 high schools in New York. The results that were announced after careful consideration by other media outlets, including ESPN, Sports Illustrated, MaxPreps and more came out last week.

LuHi, Archbishop Stepinac, St. Raymond for Boys, Nazareth and St. Francis Prep took the top five spots respectively. Here is the full list of the top 25 schools in New York, according to On3.

Kiyan Anthony will accompany Sadiq White, Luke Fennell and Aaron Womack at Adrian Autry's Syracuse next season.
