"Big things to come in Boulder": Colorado fans react to Julian Lewis' heartfelt message commemorating his high school football journey
Julian Lewis, the Colorado Buffaloes' five-star quarterback signee from the Class of 2025, is finally done with high school. The 6-foot quarterback had an elite campaign at Carrollton High School (Georgia) and was one win away from claiming the state title this year.
He shared a heartfelt note on X (formerly Twitter), looking back at his amazing journey with the Trojans. He thanked his teammates, coaches and the Carrollton community for their support.
"I thank God for my HS career and every blessing he’s given me," Lewis wrote. ... "We were blessed to accomplish so much together and I pray that God was glorified through our gifts and talents."
Fans showed their support and appreciation in the comment section of the post. Most fans praised Lewis for his amazing performances and wished him well for his future in Boulder.

The five-star quarterback signed with the Buffaloes on Dec. 4 after taking a U-turn from his commitment to the USC Trojans. Fans are looking forward to his time in Colorado starting next year.

Julian Lewis dominated high school football for three years and finished his career with 11,010 yards and 144 touchdowns while leading the Trojans to an overall record of 39-3.

The five-star quarterback from Carrollton, Georgia, Julian Lewis, will play for the Colorado Buffaloes starting next year. He finished his high school career after suffering a heartbreaking loss in the 6A State Championship game at the hands of the Grayson Rams.
Lewis, however, had a tremendous year, throwing for 3,465 yards and 46 touchdowns while completing 76.2% of his pass attempts, per MaxPreps. He ended with five interceptions and a quarterback rating of 144.9.
The signal-caller is ranked No. 39 and is the sixth-best quarterback in the Class of 2025, per On3. Julian Lewis is the sixth-best overall recruit from Georgia.
