"BRING HIM HOME": Georgia fans react as 5-star in State player Tyler Atkinson schedules visit during Bulldogs vs. Auburn Tigers match

Tyler Atkinson, a five-star linebacker from the Class of 2026, is one of the best overall prospects in the country. The 6-foot-2 athlete is sitting on offers from some of the best CFB programs in the country, such as Auburn, Clemson, Tennessee, Alabama, Colorado, Florida and Florida State.

The Georgia Bulldogs are also in the running to sign the talented defenseman and he is set to visit the program over the weekend, according to On3's Chad Simmons.

On3 Recruits' X account shared the news about Atkinson's upcoming visit to the Bulldogs' campus and fans were quick to share their opinions about it.

A lot of Georgia fans are hyped to have one of the best prospects from the Class of 2026 on their campus and they urged him to sign with them in the comment section.

"BRING HIM HOM(e)," one fan said.

"Come be a legend," another fan wrote.

"That’s a bulldog," another fan commented.

However, fans of other top programs also shared their opinion on the news.

"All love but they all losing!" one fan wrote.

"Hopefully Texas next week," another fan said.

"Looks like a tiger," another fan commented.

Georgia coach Kirby Smart took a helicopter to Grayson High to have a chat with Atkinson during the high school season.

The Georgia Bulldogs have been in contention to sign the five-star linebacker from Grayson High School since he was in eighth grade. The Kirby Smart-led program is the favorite to land the five-star prospect, as per On3, and the Bulldogs are doing everything in their power to get him.

Atkinson spoke about the program in a prior interview with On3 and had nothing but positive things to say about the school.

"I’ve been to Georgia a lot," the five-star recruit told On3. "I’m very cool with a lot of guys on the team ... Coach Glenn Schumann … me being around him for so long has allowed us to build our relationship and allowed him to pour into me ...

"Coach Smart is a great coach. I’ve been around coach Kirby and he loves what I can do on the field ... It’s all love for Georgia."

Tyler Atkinson is ranked No. 9 in the country and is the best player at his position, as per On3. However, 247Sports has ranked him the 18th-best player in the country and as the second-best linebacker in his class.
