Five-star USC QB commit Julian Lewis to play in 2025 Under Armour All-American Game
Five-star quarterback Julian Lewis from Carrollton High School in Georgia will have the opportunity to prove his caliber to the nation in January. The USC Trojans commit will play in the 2025 Under Armour All-American Game, which highlights the top high school seniors across the country.
On Wednesday, Lewis confirmed his participation in the event with a post on X, writing:
"Committed @UANextFootball @TheUCReport @CraigHaubert @DemetricDWarren."
The 6-foot, 186-pound Lewis was initially a member of the 2026 recruiting class before reclassifying to the 2025 class in the winter. He has been committed to USC since last year and is the highest-rated prospect in the Trojans' 2025 cycle, which ranks No. 10 in the nation.
Lewis is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 46 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 7 quarterback in the 2025 class and the No. 5 recruit in Georgia.
At the Under Armour All-American Game, Lewis will share the field with another five-star recruit, wide receiver Dakorien Moore. The Oregon commit is ranked as the No. 5 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 1 wide receiver in the 2025 class and the No. 1 recruit in Texas, per 247Sports.
Four-star quarterback Dia Bell, a Texas Longhorn commit, has also confirmed his participation in the game. Bell is ranked as the No. 23 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 4 quarterback in the 2026 class and the No. 3 recruit in Florida, per 247Sports.
Julian Lewis' USC commitment update
Julian Lewis chose the Trojans over Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State and LSU, among other elite programs. His pledge to the Trojans has held firm for over a year, but that hasn’t stopped other schools from continuing their recruitment efforts. One of the most persistent suitors has been coach Deion Sanders' Colorado Buffaloes.
Lewis has taken several visits to Boulder, and according to On3's Recruiting Prediction Machine, Colorado holds a 17.4% chance of flipping his commitment from USC. This pursuit has created speculation about a potential flip, but Lewis has remained steadfast in his decision so far.
In an interview with ESPN’s Craig Haubert ahead of his season opener, a 24-0 victory over Woodward Academy on Aug. 16, Julian Lewis reaffirmed his commitment to USC, saying:
“As of right now, I’m still locked in with USC. That’s still where my home is. Taking visits is kind of a part of the process, I was going to go see what’s going on everywhere else, but I’m still USC right now."
For coach Lincoln Riley, landing a blue-chip quarterback like Julian Lewis and sticking with him is a crucial part of his recruiting strategy. Lewis is the only quarterback committed to USC for 2025, and Riley isn’t even pursuing quarterbacks for the 2026 class. The future of USC’s quarterback room rests heavily on Lewis, who will remain the top priority for Riley moving forward.
