Gilbert Arenas' daughter Hamiley Arenas shares 4-word reaction to Jason Crowe Jr.'s performance at Capitol City Classic
Hamiley Arenas, the daughter of three-time NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas, was impressed by Jason Crowe Jr.'s performance for Inglewood. During Inglewood's dominating 112-63 win against South Salem at the Capitol City Classic, Crowe scored 47 points in just three quarters on 60.8%, stole the ball eight times and recorded six assists.
The Hoops Pill took to Instagram to share Crowe's stats and Hamiley Arenas reshared the post to her story with a four-word caption:
"U be on one @jasoncrowejr," Arenas captioned her story.
Crowe has been putting up some excellent performances for Inglewood and has scored at least 25 points in all their matches this season. The win against Salem saw him score 38 points.
The Class of 2026 recruit is ranked as a five-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports, as well as a four-star recruit by On3. Jason Crowe is ranked at the eighth position nationally, first in the combo guard position and fifth in California.
In the last two seasons for Inglewood, Crowe has played 65 games and averaged 36.6 ppg, 5.6 apg, 3.7 rpg, 3.7 spg and 0.4 bpg. In his freshman year, Jason Crowe Jr. played 36 matches and posted averages of 36.0 ppg, 3.1 rpg, 5.4 apg, 3.5 spg and 0.5 bpg. He showed improvement in his sophomore year, averaging 37.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 0.2 blocks in 29 matches last season.
Jason Crowe Jr. talks about advice from NBA players
The 6-foot-2 combo guard appeared on Paul Pierce's "Truth Lounge" podcast in November with his father Jason Crowe Sr. He talked about getting advice from the Boston Celtics forward and five-time NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum and nine-time NBA All-Star Russell Westbrook:
"Jayson Tatum. I talk to him here and there. He always gives me pointers and stuff like that. I text him every couple days and stuff like that. And then obviously Westbrook, playing for his program, we talk very often, just give me pointers and stuff like that and so that's it." (32:53 - 33:11)
Crowe Jr. has plenty of offers top programs across the nation. According to On3's recruitment prediction machine, UCLA has the highest chance of landing Crowe Jr. with a 9.9% probability, followed by USC Trojans with an 8.6% chance.
However, he still has another year before he makes a decision on his collegiate career.
