Gilbert Arenas' son Alijah Arenas reacts as 4-star Isaac Ellis announces his college decision.

Isaac Ellis, the 6-foot-1 Moravian Prep point guard, has announced that he has received an offer from the University of South Carolina. The announcement, which was shared on Thursday via a post on his Instagram (@isaacellis), has been met with different reactions from fans and fellow athletes.

One of these reactions came from Gilbert Arenas' son, Alijah, who, like Ellis, has also yet to make any college commitments. Arenas took to his Instagram story to reshare the announcement:

Ellis, the 17-year-old four-star class of 2026 prospect, has so far received seven offers, including one from Queens, Radford, Eastern Kentucky, Old Dominion, Appalachian, and High Point University. Without a doubt, more offers will still come in, especially if he keeps up the consistently brilliant performances he's been showcasing this season.

So far this season, he's been averaging 14.1 points, 3.9 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game in the overtime elite league. He, alongside his brother, Eli Ellis, has been a crucial part of the YNG Dreamerz 2024-25 campaign, leading the team to an impressive 8-1 record.

The Ellis brothers, Isaac and Eli, could reunite

With the recent offer from the University of South Carolina, Isaac Ellis now has the opportunity to play alongside his brother beyond high school basketball.

Eli Eliss, who is currently ranked No. 68 in the class of 2025, had earlier committed to the Gamecocks. Isaac, on the other hand, still has a year of high school basketball to decide on his college choice.

The brothers have played together at Moravian Prep. They also played for YNG Dreamerz in the Overtime Elite League, where they've combined to lead the team to eight wins. Eli currently averages 34.0 points and 8.3 assists, while Isaac averages 14.1 points. They have been a lethal combination on the court.

Now, with Isaac getting an offer from the same school, the brothers may have the opportunity to play college basketball as teammates if Isaac eventually chooses to commit.
