Michaela Onyenwere's athleticism praised by Sky GM after Chicago signing

Her NBA career started when the New York Liberty picked her in their 2021 first draft. Since then, Onyenwere has played for the Phoenix Mercury, before teaming up with Chicago Sky in 2024.
In a press conference, Chicago Sky General Manager Jeff Pagliocca praised Michaela Onyenwere's athleticism, noting her Rookie of the Year award (via sky.wnba.com):
"Michaela brings great athleticism and has greatly improved every year she’s been in the league thus far. Bringing a former Rookie of the Year can only strengthen our roster. Brianna brings tremendous size, rebounding abilities and stifling defense to the team and we cannot wait to see what they can both do in a Sky uniform.”
Onyenwere played in 34 games for the Sky in 2024, starting 18, and averaged 18.7 minutes per game. She averaged 6.6 points, 1.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists per outing.
