Kaleena Smith, the top-ranked player in the Class of 2027, has joined the growing list of celebrities and basketball athletes who are looped into the hype around LiAngelo Ball's rap song "Tweaker."
On Saturday, Overtime Select shared an edit featuring the young athlete set to the viral track. The video begins with a news reporter discussing slippery conditions caused by heavy snow before transitioning to highlights of Smith showcasing her skills alongside the hit lyrics.
"I MIGHT SWERVE BEND THAT CORNER WOOOAHHH," Overtime Select captioned the post.
Overtime Select shared an Instagram story and expressed its love for the song.
“I love his new song so much I made a vid!” the caption read.
Later, Smith reposted the story.
Young athletes are increasingly editing their on-court moments to the beat of LiAngelo Ball's hit song "Tweaker." Caleb Holt, the No. 2 player from the Class of 2026, also joined the trend by posting his own edit featuring the viral track.
Kaleena Smith becomes Adidas' first NIL high school women's basketball signee
Adidas has signed 16-year-old Kaleena Smith, the five-star recruit from Ontario Christian High School, as its first NIL deal for a school girls basketball player. The deal is part of the company's expansion under three-time WNBA champion Candace Parker, the president of women's basketball at Adidas.
Smith is a standout freshman who has earned monumental achievements, such as the 2023-24 Girls Basketball MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year and a spot on the 2024 USA Women's U17 National Team.
Kaleena Smith is ranked as the top player in the Class of 2027. Ontario Christian High School (Calif.) and her AAU team will also benefit from Smith joining Adidas' 3SSB circuit.
She has joined the Adidas-sponsored athletes roster, which includes huge names like Chelsea Gray, Kahleah Copper, Aliyah Boston and Aaliyah Edwards.
