St. Clair verbally committed to the Buckeyes during his junior year. In an interview with Dayton Daily News, the young sensation spoke about his commitment to the Buckeyes:

"A dream come true. I’ve thought about this for a long time — since I was a little kid. And now that it’s kinda happening and I’m getting the attention it’s cool because nobody has really done it from Bellefontaine."

He finally inked the deal in early December and joined the Buckeyes' 2025 roster. In a report by Cleveland.com, St Clair spoke about the next big leap of his career:

“This was the last thing that I had to do, and I’m officially a Buckeye now. It’s time to work, time to come in and compete and see what happens from there.”

He even thanked the people of Bellefontaine, who showed up on his big day to support him.

"I’ve tried to do everything I can for this community and they’ve given it right back to me.”

He had received offers from Toledo, Louisville, and Florida, among others, but chose to team up with the Buckeyes. Adding another achievement to the list, Tavien St. Clair was honored as the 2025 Navy All-American during their Road to Dome Tour last Friday. The tour recognizes 100 All-Americans with live and virtual jersey presentations.

The Navy All-American Bowl is an NBC Sports-owned property, which is the most talked about high school event, with more than four million television viewers and 25,000 fans in attendance.

St Clair teams up with Panini America

He signed a multi-year NIL deal with Panini America in early December.

"As I enter the next phase of my football life, I’m excited to partner with a leader in the trading card space like Panini. Growing up you dream of having your own Panini trading card – to actually have that happening and use it as another way to be connected with Ohio State fans is incredible, he said.

The Panini College program allows St. Clair to have his own trading card, featuring him in their memorabilia products and marketing initiatives. With this stepping stone, he joins the likes of Julian Sayin, Jalen Milroe, and Dylan Raiola.
