She is seen enjoying her drink while she dons a black hoodie and blue jeans with a peace out sign.
La La Anthony is an actress, producer, and beauty entrepreneur who has appeared in Think Like a Man and Chi-Raq, among many others, totaling 50 film and television credits to her name. Moreover, she also authored the New York Times bestseller The Love Playbook and the Power Playbook. She is the ex-wife of NBA Hall-of-Famer Carmelo Anthony. The couple divorced in 2021, and they have a 17-year-old son named Kiyan Anthony.
In an interview with the People, La La Anthony spoke about her divorce and co-parenting.:
"I'm from New York so being here is nothing new. When we lived here under all of that, that's when things became complicated. Now that I look back, that was kind of the start of the demise of the marriage."
However, she did reminisce about the good times she had shared with the NBA star and called Carmelo a good friend and a great parent:
"We had some great times. We have a beautiful son, Kiyan, who's amazing. It wasn't all bad. We had great, great times. It ended bad, but we're still friends and we co-parent great. ... Life is just about lessons and going through different phases, and that was a phase in my life, a chapter in my life. And now, that chapter's over but it's never really over when you have a kid with somebody."
Kiyan Anthony and mom La La Anthony hit $44,000 jackpot
Last Saturday, La La Anthony shared a carousel post on Instagram, announcing her and Kiyan's $44,000 victory from a bet they placed on the basketball game. The game was between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers, where the Nuggets secured the win, 126-122. Although Kiyan was still on the crutches, that didn't stop him from enjoying the jackpot.
In late November, Anthony took a fall in an opening game against St. Joseph. In the final quarter of the game, he lept for the bucket, and while in mid-air, he collided with Nate Blenmanas and fell to the floor. He did not sustain any major injury aside from sore hamstrings and tailbone.
