Grace Knox Commits to Kim Mulky's LSU Tigers
Grace Knox chose to play for Kim Mulky's LSU Tigers despite offers from USC, Texas and Tennessee. The Rancho Cucamonga, California, native said Mulkey was a huge factor behind her decision.
"I think when I first went on my visit, I felt like there was no sense of awkwardness and there was a sense of belonging. I think I can go to the next level with the coaching of Kim Mulkey," Knox said.
Knox averaged 17.2 points and 11.9 rebounds per game in her junior year at Etiwanda High School in California. She also represented the Cal Sparks in the Nike EYBL circuit, averaging 14.7 ppg, 7.7 rpg, 1.8 steals and 1.0 blocks per game and earning the defensive MVP of Nike EYBL Session III award.
