Five-star wide receiver Jerome Myles, from Corner Canyon High School in Utah, committed to USC's 2025 class. He was formerly committed to Ole Miss but decommitted from the Rebels on June 24.

Myles planned to announce his commitment on Oct. 30 but opted to speed up the timeline after feeling a strong connection with USC during an official visit on Sept. 7. The visit coincided with USC’s dominant 48-0 victory over Utah State.

The 2025 All-American confirmed his commitment to Lincoln Riley's program on X, formerly Twitter, tagging Riley and wide receiver coach Dennis Simmons:

"Fight on ✌🏻✌🏻 @LincolnRiley @CoachSimmonsSC @USC_Athletics @BlairAngulo @BrandonHuffman @AABonNBC @KjarEric."

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound WR played alongside four-star quarterback Helaman Casuga at Corner Canyon. At USC, he will be catching passes from five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, who committed to the Trojans last year.

With Myles’ commitment, USC boasts 20 players in its 2025 recruiting class, which ranks 10th in the nation. He becomes the second-highest-ranked recruit in the Trojans' 2025 class, trailing only quarterback Julian Lewis.

Myles' addition also strengthens a talented wide receiver corps, joining fellow standout recruits Corey Simms (Missouri), Tanook Hines (Texas), James Johnson (Georgia) and Romero Ison (Maryland).

Why did Jerome Myles choose USC over other programs?

Jerome Myles holds over 20 Power Four offers. After carefully considering options from top-tier programs, he has narrowed his choices to Georgia, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Utah and USC.

Despite feeling a strong connection to Utah due to home ties and an early-season visit to Texas A&M, where he saw the Aggies fall to Notre Dame 23-13, Myles chose USC after an impactful game-day visit.

In an interview with On3, Myles shared what made him choose USC:

“Definitely the staff made it a pretty easy pick. They all have experience with NFL players and know how to develop them. Also, the life outside of football is something different there. You can be successful in anything you choose.”

Myles has been a force over the past two seasons, recording 53 catches for 1,185 yards and 14 touchdowns, along with 34 rushing yards and another score on four carries. His athleticism is proved by his success as a state champion in both the 100- and 200-meter sprints.
