"My baby is a straight killa": Gilbert Arenas' ex Laura Govan reacts to daughter Hamiley Arenas' highlights from first games of the season

Three-time NBA All-Star Gilbert Arenas and Laura Govan have created a basketball dynasty with all four of their kids playing the game. Her younger daughter Hamiley Arenas has been displaying stellar performances for Notre Dame High School.

The Class of 2028 recruit recorded a double-double in her debut game for Notre Dame against Campbell. She scored 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the 75-70 loss to Campbell. Some highlights of Arenas' debut game were posted by the famous basketball page 'Home Team Hoops,' and her mother Laura Govan took to the comment section to react to the video:

"My Baby is A Straight Killa 😍," Govan commented.

Her father Gilbert Arenas also took to Instagram to post her highlights while he sat in the stands:

"@hamileyarenas0 With her 27 points and 13 rebounds high-school Debut 🔥🔥 #nortedameGirl," he captioned the post.

Arenas turned 16 years old on Dec. 9 and celebrated her birthday with a win over Santa Monica. She recorded a double-double in that game as well, scoring 40 points and grabbing 16 rebounds.

Notre Dame head coach Jena Laolagi commented on Arenas' versatility, describing her as a combo guard who can play positions one through four, depending on the team's needs. She has joined new transfers Emily Abramovitch (from Calabasas) and Taylor Ford (from Canyon High).

Laura Govan shares heartfelt Instagram post for Hamiley Arenas

Govan is very active on Instagram when sharing highlights, videos and pictures of her family. She consistently posts Alijah Arenas' highlights and talks about her kids in various podcasts.

She took to Instagram to share a heartfelt post for her youngest daughter, talking about her varsity high school career:

"My Baby Is Averaging 25 points as a 9th grader for Varsity High School … Proud Mama You Work So Hard Training Watching Film all hours of the night. No Body Needs To See What You Do in the Dark, keep letting your Light Shine On The Court Mama … Proud Mama #1 Fan … @hamileyarenas0," Govan captioned the post.

Govan and Arenas' eldest son, Alijah Arenas, reclassified to the Class of 2025. Meanwhile, their youngest son, Aloni Arenas, went viral for scoring buckets against high school players and their eldest daughter, Izela Arenas, plays college basketball for the Louisville Cardinals.
