Photo: 5-star LSU commit Bryce Underwood shares wholesome photo on IG showing years of his life
Belleville Football Tigers star Bryce Underwood may be one of the best high school quarterbacks in the country, but he has shown a more wholesome side as he posted a collage that featured him through the stages of his life.
The collage showed that Underwood has been playing football since he was young. The LSU commit shared it from the Belleville Football Tigers' official Instagram page, and the post also featured a Nelson Mandela quote, which says, "It always seems impossible until it's done."
The quarterback not only has a powerful arm but also has the size and athleticism to back it up. Andrew Ivins, the director of scouting for 247Sports, noted that he continues to improve as a passer and that he has a high ceiling, especially as he is very young for his grade.
Bryce Underwood is ranked the No. 1 player, quarterback and player in Michigan in the class of 2025 by 247Sports.
Dave Portnoy and Michigan fans still not giving up, hoping to flip Bryce Underwood
Bryce Underwood has already committed to Louisiana State University, though players have flipped before, so many in his home state of Michigan are still not giving up on him committing to the Wolverines. This includes Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy, who declared that he is willing to spend over $3 million to land a top-10 QB for the school amid the Wolverines' passing woes.
It is not just Portnoy who wants Underwood. James Yoder, the host of the Michigan Football Report on YouTube, said he wants Underwood and has added another $1 million to the offer.
"If Portnoy goes to three million, right, he taps out, if for his three million, we will add a million dollars to bring it up to four million dollars. It comes with strings attached, that is the offer to Bryce Underwood," he said.
However, Underwood has so far been adamant about staying committed to LSU, with the quarterback not visiting any other school since he announced his commitment.
