Notre Dame High School's basketball sensation Tyran Stokes gave fans a glimpse of his off-court life by sharing an adorable picture with his pet dog on Instagram on Monday.
"My Boy ❤️," Tyran wrote.
At just 17 years old, Stokes is a consensus five-star recruit and the No. 1 player in the 2026 class. Currently attending Notre Dame High School in Sherman Oaks, California, he has already made a significant impact in his high school career.
In the recently concluded Hoophall West Classic, the Stokes put in good performances. In his debut at the tournament, Stokes scored 20 points against Layton Christian Academy, earning him a spot in the 1,000-point club.
With his performances in high school, Stokes has garnered 19 Division I offers per 247Sports, including from notable programs such as Kentucky, Alabama, UCLA, and Louisville.

Slam High School, an Instagram page dedicated to High School Basketball posted highlights of Stokes's performance on its Instagram handle on Sunday. Fans showered him with praise on Instagram, with some even comparing him to Jalen Johnson, the small forward from the Atlanta Hawks.
In his debut game, he scored 20 points although his team Notre Dame suffered a narrow one-point defeat against Layton Christian Academy with the final scoreline of 54-53. Shaking the loss off, the Knights, led by the 6-foot-7 forward, registered back-to-back wins in their next two games.
Tyran first scored 17 points against Coronado on Friday to help the Knights to a dominant 84-40 win. Then, the youngster tallied 34 points and 10 rebounds against O'Connor on Saturday, willing his team to a narrow 65-62 victory.
