Alvin Henderson, a star high school running back from Elba, Alabama, displayed an Egyptian-inspired tattoo on his Instagram story. The tattoo, situated on his upper arm, features a pharaoh-like figure adorned with a headdress, its face depicted with closed eyes and detailed features.
Henderson made headlines again after breaking Alabama state’s all-time rushing record, previously set by Mac Campbell of Alexandria in 1997. Campbell, who held the record for 27 years with 9,839 rushing yards, was present as Henderson surpassed his achievement.
Henderson’s record-breaking performance saw him carry the ball 27 times, rushing for 199 yards and four touchdowns, which propelled his career rushing total to an astounding 9,935 yards.
This historic run also contributed to Elba’s 40-24 win over Florala in a pivotal Class 1A, Region 2 game, marking a remarkable season for Henderson with 2,625 rushing yards and 46 touchdowns.
Having committed to Auburn University, Henderson’s high school career has been exceptional. He has amassed 10,481 all-purpose yards and 178 touchdowns.
