Bryce James claims he can beat his dad, LeBron James in a 1-on-1
Bryce James is a confident young player, just like his superstar father. The 17-year-old shooting guard from Sierra Canyon High School recently claimed that he could beat his father in a one-on-one matchup.
In a video shared on social media by NBA Future Starts Now, Bryce was asked about a potential one-on-one between him and his father. His answer did not disappoint.
"Who do you think would win 1-on-1, you or your dad?" the shooting guard was asked.
"Me," answered a confident Bryce James.
Bryce is a confident player, and it shows during his games and practices. His older brother Bronny became an NBA player this year when he was selected 55th overall by the LA Lakers in the 2024 NBA Draft. Bryce will hope to follow the same path.
The James family recently attended the Olympics in Paris to watch their father win the gold medal in men's basketball. The team defeated France in the final in a tight game with a scoreline of 98-87. LeBron James finished with 14 points, 10 assists, and six rebounds en route to winning his third Olympic gold medal.
