Johnson received more than 10 offers from institutions across the nation. She narrowed the list down to Louisville, LSU and Kentucky.

Johnson has been an exceptional basketball player. She charted 17.8 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.9 steals and one block per game in her first season at the Sacred Heart Academy (Louisville, Kentucky). She played a crucial role in her side clinching the second consecutive KHSAA State Championship.
Next season, she stepped up her game and had 22.5ppg and 8.8 rpg, leading the Sacred Heart Academy to another State Championship.
The golden run is yet to stop, as Johnson led the program to their fourth straight state championship last year. LSU fans might have started celebrating already, considering the incredible performance Johnson has put at the high school level.
