Ryan Day's Ohio State offers scholarship to four-star LB Kaden Henderson to Class of 2027
Four-star linebacker Kaden Henderson from Jesuit High School in Tampa, Florida has earned nearly 20 Division I offers so far. Ryan Day's Ohio State is the latest program, sending him an offer on Friday for the Buckeyes 2027 class.
Buckeyes linebacker coach James Laurinaitis reached out to Henderson with the offer, and the prospect shared the news on X:
"After a great conversation with @JLaurinaitis55 I am blessed to receive a offer from The Ohio State University #GoBucks🌰."
Kaden Henderson has earned offers from Oregon, Florida, Minnesota, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Oklahoma, SMU and Tennessee, among others.
Henderson is ranked by On3 as the No. 32 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 2 linebacker in the 2027 class and the No. 2 recruit from Florida. 247Sports places him as the No. 78 prospect in the nation, the No. 4 linebacker in the class and the No. 6 recruit in the state.
Henderson can be a good addition to Ohio State's 2027 class, which has yet to receive any commitment. However, the Buckeyes have extended scholarships to multiple prospects in this cycle, and besides Henderson, the school also offered five more linebackers in the class, including Liufau Loumoli, Jake Godfree, Braylon Williams, Quinton Cypher and Ellis McGaskin.
Kaden Henderson received an Alabama offer last week
Kaden Henderson visited Tuscaloosa for Alabama's homecoming game against Missouri on Oct. 26. The Crimson Tide redeemed themselves after a 24-17 loss to Tennessee, securing a 34-0 win over Missouri.
Henderson’s trip was made even more memorable when Alabama defensive coordinator Kane Wommack extended a scholarship offer to him during the visit.
Alabama's 2027 recruiting class holds the No. 1 spot. The Crimson Tide already have commitments from two talented four-star edge rushers, Jabarrius Garror and Ba'Roc Willis in this class.
Garror, who attends Vigor High School in Mobile, Alabama, is ranked as the No. 2 overall player in the state and the No. 6 edge rusher in the nation, according to 247Sports. Willis is another local standout from Moody High School in Alabama, ranks as the No. 4 overall player in Alabama and the ninth-best edge rusher in the class, according to On3.
