"They can do it all": Four-Star WR Cederian Morgan raves about Alabama offense following game-day visit against Georgia
Last weekend, over 100 prospects gathered at Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium to witness a thrilling clash between the then No. 4 Alabama Crimson Tide and No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs. Among these prospects was four-star wide receiver Cederian Morgan, who made the trip to Tuscaloosa to see the Crimson Tide's explosive offense in person.
The Crimson Tide (4-0, 1-0 SEC) secured a thrilling 41-34 victory over the Bulldogs (3-1, 1-1) due to the phenomenal performance of quarterback Jalen Milroe. Morgan was impressed by the program's ability to execute a multifaceted attack.
"Their offense looks good,” Morgan said (via Touchdown Alabama). “They can do it all.”
The game also marked Kalen DeBoer's debut as Alabama's head coach in the Southeastern Conference, and he certainly made an impact. Morgan earlier praised DeBoer's offensive strategy, saying,
“He is a real good coach, real cool coach. He fits the playing style I like, swinging the ball around, taking shots and he’s really good at it. He’s been the best at it for a long time, and he likes to throw the ball. He has sent a lot of great receivers and quarterbacks to the league,” he told Touchdown Alabama.
Several Alabama commits, including offensive tackle Ty Haywood, cornerback Dijon Lee, quarterback Keelon Russell, and wide receiver Caleb Cunningham, also attended the game. The Crimson Tide is set to face Vanderbilt on Saturday.
Can Alabama secure Cederian Morgan's commitment?
In June, 247Sports National Recruiting analyst Tom Loy predicted that Cederian Morgan would commit to Alabama. However, as the summer progressed, the recruiting momentum shifted. Auburn Undercover’s Christian Clemente and Jason Caldwell submitted “crystal ball predictions” favoring Auburn for the wide receiver in July.
Still, now the momentum is in the Tigers' favor, as On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives the school a 91.7% chance of landing his commitment. Meanwhile, Alabama has a 3.9% chance of securing his pledge to the 2026 class, which has only one committed player: cornerback Dorian Barney.
In six games of his junior season, Cederian Morgan recorded 687 yards and 11 touchdowns. One of his recent standout performances was in Benjamin Russell's 29-0 win against Charles Henderson on Oct. 27, when he picked up 130 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
