The 2024 Jordan Holiday Classic lineup has been announced and there are several high-profile games to look forward to. The event will happen at Baruch College’s Arc Arena in New York City from Dec. 27-29 and will feature teams from all over the country.
The question now is which games to watch for this third annual Jordan Holiday Classic? Well, there are actually three that stood out in particular.
3 Jordan Holiday Classic games to watch this year
3) Bishop McNamara High School (Maryland) vs. Dynamic Prep
Bishop McNamara has been struggling as of late, with some very tough losses against some very good teams. However, it still has plenty of four-star talent in Prince-Alexander Moodym Brandon Woodardm and Jayden Mills. Facing them, however, is the always tough Dynamic Prep squad led by the Dynamic Duo themselves, Jermaine O'Neal Jr. and Jaden Toombs.
Dynamic Prep has been red hot this season, only losing to top-ranked teams like Allen and Christopher Columbus High School, with a 9-3 record. However, there is still a big chance that the four-star filled Bishop McNamara can still pull off the upset win. This will happen on Dec. 28, Saturday.
2) Long Island Lutheran vs. Christopher Columbus High School (Miami, Florida)
This is a matchup between NBA legacies, with the twin sons of Carlos Boozer and the son of Jason Richardson taking on the son of Carmelo Anthony. Now, Kiyan Anthony has so far been out with an injury, but he may be back by the time the Jordan Holiday Classic rolls around later this month, and he is set for an explosive return for LuHi.
However, standing in his way is that four-headed monster known as the Columbus Explorers, which boasts generational talents like the Boozer Twins, Cameron and Cayden Boozer, as well as five-star Caleb Gaskins and four-star Jaxon Richardson. Still, LuHi does have other talents it could count on, such as Dylan and Kayden Mingo, as well as Nigel James. This will happen on Dec. 28.
1) Christopher Columbus High School (Miami, Florida) vs. Link Academy
After facing off against a possibly returning Kiyan Anthony and LuHi, the Boozer Twins are next gonna face off against against Missouri's Link Academy. The school will be led by five-star Houston commit Chris Cenac, who will be more of a challenge against Cameron Boozer at the power forward spot during the Jordan Holiday Classic.
Both teams have stayed red hot, only losing to top tier opponents, with Link Academy only losing to AJ Dybantsa's Utah Prep, as well as Jermaine O'Neal Jr. and Dynamic Prep. Meanwhile, Columbus has only lost one, in their season opener against Darryn Peterson and Prolific Prep, and has not lost since.
