#4. Andrew Babalola - 5-Star Offensive Tackle
Despite indications he would announce his commitment before his senior year, Babalola has yet to make a decision. The delay has only heightened the speculation about where the talented lineman will sign.
While Stanford remains the frontrunner for Andrew Babalola, Auburn has made strides in its effort to secure his services. Oklahoma and Missouri also remain in the race.
#3. Justus Terry - 5 Star Plus+ Defensive Lineman
Justus Terry is one of the most sought-after players in the 2025 class. At one point, he was committed to USC, but he reopened his recruitment, and now the two main contenders for his signature are Alabama and Georgia. Georgia currently holds a slight edge, but Alabama isn't backing down.
Terry recently visited Alabama unannounced, fueling speculation that the Crimson Tide is gaining ground in the recruiting wars. Georgia, however, remains the team to beat, and many believe Terry could be in Athens soon for another visit. In 2022, Terry registered 38 tackles and four sacks. He also added three receptions for 100 yards and a touchdown.
#2. Elijah Griffin - 5-Star Plus+ Defensive Lineman
Elijah Griffin, widely regarded as the top defensive lineman in the 2025 class, is facing an intense recruiting battle between three schools: Georgia, Miami and USC. Georgia, in particular, is considered the favorite, and his official visit to the Bulldogs on October 12 could prove pivotal.
Griffin planned to wait until the early signing period in December to announce his decision. However, he has since hinted that he may commit around his birthday, October 12, which coincides with his Georgia visit.
#1. Michael Terry III
Michael Terry III, a versatile athlete from Texas, is the top uncommitted five-star prospect in the country. Texas appears to be the frontrunner in his recruitment. However, he recently attended a Nebraska home game, where he was impressed by the atmosphere.
“It was crazy! Players coaching staff and fans was hyped. The environment for the staff and players are good and every time I go they are improving things.”
Despite his positive experience at Nebraska, the Longhorns are considered the favorite to land his commitment. Terry has spoken highly of his relationship with Texas running backs coach Tashard Choice,
"Watching them practice and seeing my ex-high school teammates, and showing me how they work to evaluate the new guys. Explaining what they are looking for and what they would look to get from me were good takeaways that helped me understand exactly what I’ll be doing and how I’ll handle working with different position coaches on getting development for multiple positions."
Terry had an outstanding 2023 season, earning District 13-5A MVP honors after rushing for 995 yards and 20 touchdowns while adding 564 receiving yards and ten touchdowns. He is also a track standout, qualifying for the Texas 5A regionals and posting impressive times in the 100, 200, and 400 meters.
