Top 3 landing spots for elite WR Jerome Myles to the Class of 2025 ft. USC
Four-star wide receiver Jerome Myles reopened his recruitment journey by decommitting from Ole Miss on June 24. Myles has nearly 30 offers on the table and pushed his announcement date to Sept. 18, ahead of its original Oct. 30 target.
After a standout performance in Corner Canyon High School's monumental upset over IMG Academy, where Myles racked up three touchdowns and 125 receiving yards, his stock has risen. A knee injury that sidelined him for the last two games, but he remains a hot commodity.
Myles is the No. 98 overall prospect, the No. 19 wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting cycle and the No. 1 recruit in Utah, according to Rivals. Let's see which three programs have the most potential to secure his commitment.
Top 3 programs vying for Jerome Myles' commitment
#3. Texas A&M
Texas A&M made its interest in Jerome Myles official with an offer on April 25, and the four-star receiver made an official visit to the Aggies' campus on June 21. The odds may not be in Texas A&M’s favor, as On3 Recruiting Machine gives them just a 1.1% chance of landing Myles, but they shouldn’t be completely counted out.
One factor working in Texas A&M’s favor is their strong 2025 recruiting class. The Aggies rank No. 9 in the nation and No. 6 in the Southeastern Conference for the 2025 cycle. They have been bolstered by the commitments of five-star quarterback Husan Longstreet, four-star cornerback Adonyss Currie and four-star defensive lineman DJ Sanders.
This collection of these blue-chip recruits could influence Myles to become part of something special, even if the Aggies are currently seen as a long shot.
#2. Utah
As the top recruit in the state of Utah, Jerome Myles was once considered a near-lock to join the Utes. Playing at Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah, he is familiar with the program and culture under Kyle Whittingham. The program secured an official visit from him on June 14.
According to On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Utah still has a 20.4% chance of landing Myles' commitment. The Utes’ recruiting class for 2025 currently ranks No. 43 in the nation and No. 6 in the Big 12, bolstered by the commitment of wide receiver Tavian McNair.
#1. USC
All signs point to USC as the clear frontrunner for Jerome Myles' commitment. Multiple recruiting insiders, including On3’s Steve Wiltfong and 247Sports analysts Blair Angulo and Greg Biggins, have predicted that he will join the Trojans. The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine gives USC a 77% chance of securing his commitment.
Myles visited USC over the weekend of their 48-0 blowout victory over Utah State, along with 2025 class linebacker prospect Ty Jackson. Trojans coach Lincoln Riley's message for the potential prospects may also influence him.
“You got recruits that are looking towards the future,” Riley told SI. "They see the changes that we’ve made, not just this year but in the last couple of years, and to see those changes come together and see the team play."
USC’s star-studded 2025 class already features five-star quarterback Julian Lewis, and the potential of playing alongside a talent like Lewis could be a major draw for Myles. Other key commits include safety Kendarius Reddick and linebackers Mantai Tagoa’i and Jadon Perlotte.
If Jerome Myles joins the Trojans' 2025 class, the program's No. 15-ranked recruiting class will only climb higher.
