Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story on Lifetime- Full cast list
Mormon Mom Gone Wrong: The Ruby Franke Story is the latest movie coming up on Lifetime. The plot follows the story of Ruby Franke, who ran a web series called "8 Passengers" with her family, where she documented her life along with her husband and their six children. Ruby seemed to have a perfect life, but it all fell apart when her marriage counselor, Jodi Hildebrandt, entered the picture.
Jodi moved into Ruby’s home and the environment at home soon became toxic. Ruby's husband had to move out, and the two women resorted to a very strict method of disciplining the children, which crossed the boundary of strictness and became abusive. This became clear when Ruby’s 12-year-old son escaped from home with clear signs of abuse, and the truth came to light.
A Change.org petition was launched following allegations of child abuse and neglect, and Ruby deleted her YouTube channel. She then started working as a mental health coach at ConneXions, a company run by Jodi.
