Alexander Pietrangelo is a Canadian ice hockey defenseman serving as an alternate captain for the Vegas Golden Knights in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on January 18, 1990, Pietrangelo was selected by the St. Louis Blues as the 4th overall pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
