Brady Tkachuk is an American professional ice hockey player. He plays as a left winger and is the captain of the Ottawa Senators in the NHL( as of January 2025 ). Tkachuk started his hockey career with the St. Louis AAA Blues U16 team before joining the USA Hockey National Team Development Program. He later committed to play for Boston University, where he had a successful freshman year, scoring four goals and ten assists in 19 games. Tkachuk also represented the U.S. in the 2018 World Junior Championships.

Tkachuk was drafted fourth overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. He signed a three-year entry-level contract with the team, making his NHL debut shortly after. In his first season, he recorded 22 goals, making him one of the top rookies in the league. He earned the title of alternate captain and later became the franchise's tenth captain. He signed a seven-year contract worth $57.5 million in 2021 and scored his first NHL hat trick in December 2021.
