John Micheal Gaudreau, also known as Johnny Gaudreau, is a professional ice hockey winger from America who is currently playing with the Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL. Born on August 13, 1993, Johnny has established his name in the world of ice hockey.

John played college hockey for Boston College and skated for the Boston College Eagles from 2011 to 2014. He earned the prestigious Hobey Baker Award in 2014, recognizing him as the best player in the NCAA. This achievement was just the beginning of his bright career in ice hockey.

Calgary Flames selected Gaudreau in the fourth round of the 2011 NHL Entry draft. He debuted in the NHL in 2014, the same year he won the Hobey Baker Award in the NCAA.

Johnny impressed everyone during his rookie season; he hit his first hat trick and became the youngest player in the Calgary Flames's history to do so after three decades. He was named for the 2015 NHL All-Star Game due to his impressive performance.
