On Saturday, the Toronto Maple Leafs will host the Utah Hockey Club hoping to extend their three-game winning streak. While first-year captain Auston Matthews has been dealing with an injury, the team has managed to go 6-1 in his absence, putting the team atop the Atlantic Division. On the other end, the Utah Hockey Club team will be eager to snap their three-game skid.

Utah (7-9-3) is sixth in the Central Division, just ahead of both the Chicago Blackhawks and the Nashville Predators.

The Maple Leafs have a slew of players listed on their injury report. In addition to Auston Matthews being on the injured reserve list, Max Pacioretty, Calle Jarnkrok, David Kampf, Max Domi, and Matthew Knies are all on the list as well.

In addition, Ryan Reaves remains suspended, while Oliver Ekman-Larsson is day-to-day and likely to miss tonight's game after missing Friday's practice.

It's no surprise the Toronto Maple Leafs are betting favorites given their recent success. After winning three straight and seven of their last 10 games, the Maple Leafs are -183 betting favorites on Action Network. On the flip side, the Utah Hockey Club is a +152 underdog ahead of tonight's game.

This means that it would take a $183 bet on Toronto as the favorites to win $100 whereas a $100 bet on Utah as the underdogs would win $152. As always, these odds could well change between the time of publication and puck drop.

Following tonight's game the Maple Leafs will hit the road for a clash with the defending Stanley Cup champions on Wednesday, before returning to action on Saturday for a road game against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

From there the team will kick off the month of December with three straight home games, facing the Chicago Blackhawks on Monday, Dec. 2, the Predators on Wednesday, Dec. 4, and the Capitals on Friday, Dec. 6.
