Evander Kane's ex-wife Anna revealed as 'Jane Doe' in Sean 'Diddy' Combs sexual assault lawsuit: Report

Edmonton Oilers star Evander Kane's former wife Anna Kane has revealed her identity in her lawsuit against Sean 'Diddy' Combs, as per a report. The lawsuit, filed in December 2023, accuses Combs, former Bad Boy Records executive Harve Pierre and another person of sexual assault, as per People.

Anna had filed the case under the name 'Jane Doe,' but was required by U.S. District Judge Jessica G. L. Clarke to use her real name to continue the lawsuit. Anna had filed her lawsuit a month after Candice McCrary and she was also required to use her real name in her case against Combs.

In her lawsuit, Kane alleges that she was lured by Pierre to a private jet and taken to New York. Once there, she claims she was given drugs and alcohol at Combs’ studio before being assaulted. She described losing consciousness during the attack and later waking up in severe pain.

Anna said this demand was meant to intimidate her, but she remains determined to seek justice.

"I had hoped to use a pseudonym in pursuing justice for what happened to me as a teenager," Kane said (via PEOPLE). "Defendants' demand that I use my name was an attempt to intimidate me, but I am not intimidated. I am prepared to proceed and hold accountable those who have harmed me."

Kane said the assault has caused her emotional pain for 20 years, affecting her life and relationships. However, Combs denied the allegations, calling them false and damaging to his reputation.

"I have sat silently and watched people (allegations against me) by individuals looking for a quick payday. Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family and for the truth," Combs said in a statement from 2023, via People.

Combs is facing multiple legal challenges and remains in custody, with his next hearing scheduled for Dec. 18, 2024. Anna's case against Combs will move forward with a pre-trial conference in Jan. 2025.

Evander Kane and Anna Kane were married in 2018, but their relationship faced challenges. They parted ways in 2020, and Anna filed for divorce in 2021. The couple had a daughter named "Kensington," with Evander having custody now.

Since the divorce, Evander Kane has moved on with his girlfriend, Mara Teigen, with whom he has two sons. They recently celebrated their growing family, as they are expecting a girl child.

Evander Kane and Mara co-parent their children, Hendrix, Iverson and Kensington. They recently enjoyed family moments together, including a cozy Thanksgiving celebration.
