"God's gift of forever" - Sabres' Owen Power proposes to girlfriend Victoria amid stunning Swiss mountains
On Thursday, Buffalo Sabres defenseman Owen Power got engaged to Victoria Beara. She shared the news on her Instagram account. The duo dressed themselves in all-black outfits, with Power in Nikes and Beara in Adidas shoes.
Victoria Beara wore a mini black dress, while Owen Power wore a black casual polo T-shirt and black shorts. Beara kept her hair untied. Based on the photos and location on Instagram, Power proposed to Beara by a lake in Switzerland near the Alps. He knelt on one knee and proposed to Beara with a ring in his hand.

Owen Power excelled in his blue line role for the Buffalo Sabres during the 2023-24 season, securing his selection for Canada's roster for the 2025 4 Nations Face-Off. The tournament, scheduled from Feb. 12-20 in Montreal and Boston, will feature NHL players from Finland, Sweden, Canada and the United States, marking the first best-on-best competition since the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.
NHL.com projected the rosters for the participating countries, with a panel of three staff writers and editors compiling a list of 23 players (20 skaters, three goalies) for Team Canada. The projected Canadian roster includes:

Power was added to the list based on his strong second season with the Sabres, replacing Vince Dunn from the original roster. Power's 2023-24 regular season statistics included scored six goals and 27 assists, totaling 33 points. His plus/minus rating was +8.
