In Photos: Canadiens' Nick Suzuki marries his longtime girlfriend Caitlin Fitzgerald surrounded by loved ones
Montreal Canadiens forward Nick Suzuki and his long time girlfriend Caitlin Fitzgerald got married today. The couple has been in a relationship since 2017 and has been together for the last seven years.
Nick's brother Ryan Suzuki, who is a Carolina Hurricanes prospect, shared the update on his Instagram story in a congratulatory post for the couple.
"Congrats Y'all (Red Heart emoji) @nsuzuki_37 @caitlinfitzgeraldd," Ryan Suzuki wrote on his Instagram story.
Ryan shared the picture from their wedding in which they can be seen at the center of their guests, getting all the attention. Nick was looking at the camera while Caitlin was looking in the opposite direction. The couple was dressed in white. Nick wore a white shirt paired with black trousers, while Caitlin wore a white umbrella dress.
In another picture from the wedding, reshared by Ryan on his Instagram story, he can be seen enjoying the beverages at his brother's wedding.
Caitlin's friend Alexis McLean also shared a picture of the couple while congratulating them.
Suzuki and Caitlin Fitzgerald got engaged on April 25, 2024. Just two months later, they are now finally husband and wife.

Nick Suzuki was the first person to share a picture with Caitlin on his Instagram, it was a picture of them dressed up for prom, posted on May 15, 2017.
"At least one of us cleans up nice #notme #prammm," Nick Suzuki captioned the post.
Caitlin posted the first picture of them together on January 28, 2019, with the caption, "Love You."

Caitlin Fitzgerald shared insights into her relationship with Nick Suzuki and how she met him in an interview with NHL.com this February. She mentioned they connected through Instagram and Snapchat in 2016-2017.
"We're both from London, Ontario," Fitzgerald said. "We kind of just knew each other through mutual friends. Nick had been living out of town playing hockey, but we just kind of connected around 2016-2017 on Instagram and Snapchat and the rest is history."
Fitzgerald praised Suzuki's compassionate nature and calm demeanor in handling stressful situations.
"He's super compassionate. He's super easy to get along with." Fitzgerald said," ... I think his demeanor in general is something that is one of his greatest qualities."
Fitzgerald also added that Suzuki knows how to handle stressful situations without losing his calm.
