Kiefer Sherwood's fiancee Ariela shares pictures from Canucks ladies Christmas party 2024
Canucks forward Kiefer Sherwood’s fiancée Ariela Smith gave fans a peek into the Canucks Ladies Christmas Party 2024 on Sunday. It was a festive event with colorful decorations, treats, and cozy holiday vibes.
One photo showed a party setup featuring a sign that read “Canucks Ladies Christmas Party 2024.” The sign was surrounded by colorful balloons in red, pink, gold and olive green, with oversized candy canes.
In another photo, the women were seen chatting on a cozy couch. They wore plaid shirts on the occasion. Balloons in green, gold, and pink hung from the ceiling, while a small Christmas-themed tree sat on a wooden table nearby. There were props like faux dollar bills for party games. Wrapped gifts were arranged by a decorated window.
Ariela also reposted a collage of photos from Lina Laukkanen’s story. One picture showed a beautifully decorated Christmas tree surrounded by colorful gifts. Another captured the girl group enjoying holiday treats at a table filled with desserts.
There was also a shot of sparkling drinks being raised in a toast, and a final image showed decorated cookies featuring candy canes and personalized names.
Kiefer Sherwood is a fan of ‘The Weekend’
On Saturday, the Vancouver Canucks shared a ‘Car interview’ with Kiefer Sherwood. During the interview, Sherwood was asked about his music preferences.
In response, the Canucks forward revealed that he enjoys upbeat tracks to keep him energized, with The Weeknd being a favorite artist. He also mentioned that Ariela once surprised him with concert tickets.
“Usually stuff to get me going, so more up-tempo. I like The Weeknd. I went to a concert with my fiancée. She surprised me with tickets. It was a great performance. That was in Florida,” he said.
Sherwood also recalled his early days in Columbus, Ohio, where he grew up with his brother.
“I started to play when Columbus came, the Jackets came to town. Me and my brother grew up playing. We spent a lot of time in our basement. My parents built us a shooting room when we were younger, but we loved it. Yeah, I kind of just fell in love with the sport.”
He shared that their parents even built a shooting room in the basement to encourage their passion for the sport. Both of Sherwood’s parents worked as graphic designers, and his mother originally from Japan, came from a place where hockey wasn’t as popular.
When asked if he inherited his parents’ creative talents, Sherwood said he didn’t, although acknowledged that his brother seemed to have a bit more of that flair.
