Nick Suzuki’s fiancée Caitlin Fitzgerald sends 'bridesmaid' care package to Kaiden Guhle’s girlfriend Miranda Heidi
Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki and Habs defenseman Kaiden Guhle have good chemistry on and off the ice. It seems their partners Caitlin Fitzgerald and Miranda Heidi are also quite close.
Suzuki got engaged to his fiancee Fitzgerald earlier this year in April. Fitzgerald has now asked Heidi to be her bridesmaid.
On Wednesday, Heidi took to her Instagram and posted a picture of a bridesmaid proposal box on her story. She tagged Caitlin Fitzgerald with a crying emoji in the story.
Fitzgerald later reposted Heidi's story on her Instagram.
Nick Suzuki and Caitlin Fitzgerald have been dating since their high school days. The couple got engaged in late April this year while vacationing at the Amanera Resort in the Dominican Republic.
Caitlin Fitzgerald calls Nick Suzuki ‘super compassionate’
During an interview with the Montreal Canadiens media team earlier in February, Caitlin Fitzgerald shared how her relationship had evolved with the Habs captain. They met through mutual friends in London, Ontario, around 2016 or 2017, connecting over Instagram and Snapchat, and have been together ever since.
When asked about Nick Suzuki’s best qualities, she said he is really easy to get along with.
“He’s super compassionate," Fitzgerald said. "He’s super easy to get along with. There are a lot of things about him all in one realm. I think his demeanor in general is something that is one of his greatest qualities. Anything you throw at him, any stressful situation, any bad situation, he always knows how to handle everything, and he does it calmly.”
Fitzgerald admitted that Suzuki can be messy at home and often leaves clothes on the floor.
“He’s quite messy at home. He’ll take off his outfit from the day and leave it on the floor. I’ll find piles of clothes beside his bed,” she said.
But Fitzgerald also said he's quick to clean up when asked. The couple have two cats, and according to Fitzgerald, their older cat, Milo, is much more attached to her, while their younger one is still figuring out who it likes more.
While talking about Suzuki's love for country music, she joked that he struggles to pull off the cowboy hat look because he’s always had a big head. She also commented on Nick Suzuki's friendship with Cole Caulfield, saying that despite having opposite personalities, the two absolutely "love each other."
