Christian Coleman makes his feelings known for Sha'Carri Richardson as she steals the show in customized formal attire amid the holiday season
Sha'Carri Richardson and Christian Coleman are two of the biggest stars of American track and field. Recently, Coleman made his feelings known for his fellow sprinter, as Richardson dressed up in a customized formal suit for the Bowerman Award Presentation.
For Richardson, 2024 has been an incredible season, as she made her debut at the Olympics. At Paris, the American clinched silver in the 100m dash and then anchored the American team to gold in the 4x100m relay. Now, the 24-year-old is making the most of her off-season and recently attended the presentation ceremony of the Bowerman Award, the highest honor in collegiate track and field.
Taking to Instagram after the event, Sha'Carri Richardson shared snaps of her time in Orlando, showing off her customized grey pantsuit, which she paired with her signature long nails, hoop earrings, and a pair of heels. Coleman later reposted one of these photos on his Instagram story, writing,
“You kinda cool I guess.”
Christian Coleman and Sha'Carri Richardson are both winners of the Bowerman Award. Coleman claimed the honor in 2017 after a season that saw him win the 60m and 200m indoor NCAA titles, as well as the 100m and 200m NCAA outdoor championships.
Meanwhile, Richardson was awarded the Bowerman in 2019, becoming the first freshman in the history of the award to claim the honor. Her 2019 collegiate season saw her win the 100m national title with a time of 10.75s. She also won silver in the 200m and helped LSU to a runner-up finish in the 4x100m relay at the NCAA championships.

Richardson posted a story where the duo posed for a boomerang together, while Coleman shared a boomerang of the two holding the invitation card for the event.

Both the Americans led busy seasons this year, including a trip to the Paris Olympics. While Richardson returned home from Paris with two medals, Coleman came back empty-handed. Outside of the Games, Richardson’s year saw her win the 2024 Prefontaine Classic, while Coleman clinched gold in the 60m at the World Indoor Championships.
