Gabby Thomas makes her feelings known about the song 'Luther' by Kendrick Lamar and SZA
Gabby Thomas recently expressed her thoughts about the song ‘Luther’ by rapper Kendrick Lamar and singer-songwriter SZA. The song was released in November 2024 as a part of Lamar’s album GNX.
Thomas posted a video showing a transition from a simple look in a turtleneck top to a glamorous look as she donned a gorgeous light-brown dress. For this TikTok, Thomas used the song "Luther" by Kendrick Lamar as the background music, although she had used a different song while recording the video.
The 28-year-old captioned the TikTok post, writing:
“Was definitely listening to another song when I recorded this lol”
A fan commented on her post saying they admired the song, writing:
“Luther is an incredible song tho”
The American track sensation expressed her feelings about the song as she replied, writing:
“So good”
Following her success at the Paris Olympics where she collected three golds in the 200m, 4x100m, and 4x400m relay events, Gabby Thomas has featured in many high-profile events including New York Fashion Week, Vogue Fashion Fund Awards, and USATF awards, among others, where she wore glamorous outfits.

Gabby Thomas picked the five celebrities whom she would like to see at Phase II of the Athlos event. On the Ali on the Run Show podcast, she chose her picks for the next edition, saying:
“That is such a good question. Okay, let's see. Beyonce...Taylor Swift can be on there for sure, Shonda Rhimes was already there, but I'm a huge fan, she showed up I would have her come back.” (22:32 onwards)
She added:
“I'm not embarrassed to admit it, but I'm a huge Jonas brothers fan. I am huge…Joe. For my last, I don’t know I am trying to think. Rihanna, probably.”
The track star also shared how the inaugural edition of Athlos by Serena Williams’ husband, Alexis Ohanian, was a ‘monumental’ event as it not only offered the largest women’s prize purse in track and field but was also a red carpet experience for the athletes. Thomas also mentioned how the athletes felt seen, understood, and celebrated during the event.
