"I’ve manifested everything i’ve dreamed of" - Tara Davis-Woodhall pens a note of gratitude after winning long jump gold at the 2024 Paris Olympics
Tara Davis-Woodhall shared her journey from believing in herself to the Olympic gold in the long jump. She talked about manifesting everything she dreamed of and bringing eyes to the long jump with her success. Davis-Woodhall won her maiden Olympic gold in the long jump at the 2024 Paris Games.
In 2017, Tara Davis-Woodhall covered a distance of 6.68m to set the junior American record in the long jump. In 2021, her 7.14m jump at the Texas Relays set the collegiate record and placed her in the top 30 all-time list. The same year, she placed sixth in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
Tara Davis-Woodall won the silver at the 2023 World Championships and the long jump title at the 2024 World Indoor Championships, building up to the most anticipated Paris Olympics. Clearing 7.10m, the American bagged the first Olympic gold of her career at Stade de France. In a recent Instagram post, she shared how self-affirmations and manifestations helped her achieve her goal in Paris.
"My journal is filled with affirmations and truths about myself. Filled with goals and dreams...On 8/08 i told myself you ARE the Olympic Champion. At 20:08pm I began my Journey to the Olympic Gold."
She added:
"It’s been 8 days since i’ve come off my win. 8 days since Ive accomplished something i’ve dreamed for so long about. 8 days since i’ve processed what this truly means. I’ve changed the sport. I brought eyes to long jump. I’ve manifested everything i’ve dreamed of and it’s all coming true," she captioned stressing on the date she earned the monumental win.
Tara Davis-Woodhall witnessed her social followers shoot up to one million after her Olympic achievement. The self-proclaimed 'America's Cowgirl' celebrated her second major milestone in an Instagram post, reading:
"I HIT A MILLION. Before I hit another wild milestone in my life... 1 million followers! I just want to thank all the people who have supported my journey....."
Tara Davis-Woodhall announced her husband Hunter Woodhall's feat at the Summer Paralympic Games next
Hunter Woodhall, the Paralympian who has three Olympic medals in his repertoire, will participate in the 2024 Summer Paralympics scheduled to take place from August 28 to September 8, 2024. He will take the track in the 100 T64 and 400 T64, aiming for his maiden Olympic gold.
His biggest supporter, Tara Davis-Woodhall, put the world on notice in anticipation of her husband's entry at the Paralympic Games in Paris.
In an X post by NBC Olympics & Paralympics, she said:
"This is not the end of the Olympic season. We have the Paralympics in two weeks. Make sure you're watching. Hunter's gonna do something crazy."
Hunter Woodhall debuted at the 2016 Rio Paralympics and won the silver in 200m T44 and bronze in 400m T44. His next Olympic stint at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics earned him the 400m T62 bronze.
