Ariarne Titmus recently shared some glimpses into her vacation with her family and friends. The swimmer, who is currently in her off-season, won four medals at the Paris Olympics.

Titmus stayed true to her billing as the favorite at the 2024 Summer Games, as she won x medals. She won her first medal in the women's 400m freestyle, clocking 3:57.49 and defeating Katie Ledecky. Following this, she competed in the women's 4x200m freestyle relay, where she swam the anchor leg and helped Australia set a new Olympic record of 7:38.08.

She also won medals in the 200m freestyle and 800m freestyle events. The swimmer is presently enjoying her downtime and this week seemingly was on a vacation with her family and friends during the holiday season. She shared a series of pictures on Instagram, showcasing the picturesque beauty of the beach.

The pictures also featured the swimmer posing with her friends and family, and she donned different outfits in her pictures. The post's caption read:

"Life is good x"

Life has not always been easy for Ariarne Titmus as she went through ovarian tumor surgery in September 2023. However, she found the fight within her to compete the next year at the Paris Olympics and is now ready for the 2028 Games.

When Ariarne Titmus opened up about her plans for the 2028 Olympics

Ariarne Titmus reflected on her plans for the Los Angeles Games in an interview with Sports Star in August. She said she would take a long break after the Paris Olympics 2024 and will get back to the water when she feels like she is ready.

She said that she wants to properly prepare herself for the upcoming Olympic Games. Titmus said,

"I'm definitely having a very extended break. I haven’t planned when I’m going back to swimming. I want to go back when I feel ready to go back. Could be up to 12 months."

She added:

"I just want to make sure I’m ready to go in LA. I don’t want to come back too early and, you know, lose that fire, I guess. I think four years is a long time, so I want to prepare myself the best for those Olympic Games. For me, that’s the priority, not world championships in the years prior."

Ariarne Titmus has won eight Olympic medals in her career, four gold, three silver, and one bronze.
