Ariarne Titmus recently appeared at the 2024 National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) Gala, where she stunned in a strapless black gown. Since taking an extended break from competitive swimming after the end of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Titmus has attended events like the Marie Claire Australia Woman of the Year Awards and serving as a Melbourne Cup Carnival ambassador.
In her recent feature at the NGV Gala, she wore a strapless black gown, accessorized with a necklace and earrings from Tiffany & Co. Take a look at the four-time gold medalist as she shared glimpses of herself on her Instagram handle.
In addition to the swimmer, Julia Fox, Toni Collette, Jesinta Franklin, and Rachel Griffiths are some prominent celebrities who graced the red carpet of the 2024 NGV Gala.
Notably, a few days ago, Titmus also was honored in home state Tasmania as she received the Athlete of the Year for the fourth time. She was present on the occasion with her mother Robyn Titmus. Via Instagram, the 24-year-old expressed her gratitude for the love and support.
“I was so happy to be able to return home to Tassie and be named Tasmanian Athlete of the Year for the 4th time last week. I will forever be grateful for the support I have received from my home state since having to relocate to Queensland for my swimming. I’m so proud to be Tasmanian,” Ariarne Titmus wrote.
Ariarne Titmus on her preferences in fashion and gives insights on her diet plan as competitive swimmer
Ariarne Titmus shared her thoughts on her style preferences during an interview with HarpersBazaar.com in 2023. She revealed that she tends to prefer dressing up slightly older than her age, adding:
“I probably dress a little older than my age, but I love timeless and classic and when I invest in good pieces, I know I am going to wear them for years to come.”
In the same interview, she also spoke about her choice of diet plan as a competitive swimmer. She preferred to have a balanced diet instead of going for traditional dieting. Titmus added:
“I eat a balanced diet and treat myself when I can. I love chocolate and dessert, but during the week I am about fuelling my body so I can perform every day to feel satisfied and don’t like to feel I am missing out on everything.”
Titmus ended her 2024 season at the Paris Olympics and announced an extended break, skipping the Swimming World Cup and Short Course World Championships.
