American competitive swimmer Caeleb Dressel experienced 'magical' moments with his wife Meghan and son August. Notably, he skipped the 2024 Swimming World Cup to spend quality time with his family.

Caeleb and Meghan's love story dates back to high school when they both swam for the Bolles School Sharks during late-night practice sessions. Although they initially started as friends, they soon got into a relationship.

In November 2019, Caeleb and Meghan got engaged as the star American swimmer got down on one knee to propose his girlfriend. They exchanged vows on February 13, 2021, in Jacksonville, Florida, and welcomed their first child, August Wilder Dressel, into the world on February 17, 2024.

Recently, Dressel shared glimpses of spending 'magical' moments with his family on his Instagram handle as August was captured experiencing rain drops.

In 2024, Caeleb Dressel featured at the Paris Olympics in multiple Swimming events - both individual and team events, where he concluded his campaign by winning two golds in the 4x100m freestyle and 4x100m mixed team relay, and a silver in the 4x100m medley disciplines.

Following his successful Paris Olympics campaign, his current Olympic medal tally now stands at nine golds and one silver.

However, he chose to skip the Swimming World Cup Series, whose three legs were scheduled in Shanghai (October 18-20), Incheon (October 24-26), and Singapore (October 31-2 November).

A few months after becoming a father, Caeleb Dressel opened up about how he and Meghan opt for different plans if something doesn't work out in an interview with Olympics.com. He said (in June 2024):

"We go with Plan B, C or D... or all the way down the alphabet. We read books and we were as prepared as we could be, but... I think Meghan and I just work together to try our best to figure out what August needs - he can't talk."

He added:

"I think adapting to him and not just being super set in stone with our plan and, 'This is what we're going to do.' Everyone's figuring each other out."

Since becoming parents, Caeleb and Meghan have frequently shared moments from their parenthood journey on social media, especially on Instagram.
