In Pictures: Gabby Thomas all smiles after completing "Cycle 1" of training as she bids farewell to running miles
American track and field athlete Gabby Thomas recently shared glimpses of her practice sessions. This comes just after she completed the first cycle of her training before the 2025 season.
The three-time Olympic gold medalist has been training hard and has also been running miles during this first cycle of her regime. She also took to social media to share glimpses of these sessions.
She took to her Instagram handle to share the pictures in which the 28-year-old could be seen donning a black t-shirt and yellowish track pants as she smiled cheerfully after biding goodbye to running miles in the first cycle of her training. She wrote in her caption:
"cycle 1 ☑️ (aka no more miles)"

Thomas had earlier also opened up about her limit of running not more than one mile in her training sessions and had also opined that she is not interested in taking up marathon events.
Besides her recent training sessions, Gabby Thomas has also been spending some quality time with several of her training partners such as Tamara Clark and Tia Jones. Notably, Thomas also went big at the USATF Night of Awards where she bagged the Female Track Athlete of the Year award for her performances throughout the season.
Gabby Thomas on how she chooses the brands she collaborates with
Gabby Thomas recently opened up on her thought process before associating herself with various brands.
In an interview, Thomas stated that the values and ethics of the brands are important for her to be aligned with those brands. She also mentioned that she prefers brands that focus on empowering women and the underrepresented sections of society. She said (via Women's Wear Daily):
"When choosing which brands I align myself with, I’m very intentional. It’s important to me that any brand I partner with shares values that resonate with who I am, both as an athlete and as a person."
Thomas further added:
"I look for brands that prioritize authenticity, integrity and social responsibility. Whether in their commitment to diversity, sustainability or empowering others — particularly women and underrepresented groups."
During the interview, Thomas also opened up about the equal treatment of male and female athletes in the discipline of track and field in terms such as resources and training facilities. Currently, the 27-year-old is associated with several prominent brands such as Hotshot, Whoop, Nulo, and Lenovo.
